Meet the Owner
Blade Runner was founded by Ryan Amundson, a local resident who grew up in Deerwood and has deep roots in the Brainerd Lakes community. From a young age, Ryan spent summers working at Ruttger’s as a marina boy and helping his dad with his lawn care business, where he learned the value of hard work and taking pride in doing things the right way. After attending the University of Minnesota Duluth, Ryan built a career in the telecommunications industry working with small businesses across northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. Combining that technology background with his lifelong connection to lawn care, Ryan created Blade Runner to bring modern robotic mowing solutions to the Brainerd Lakes area. Built on small-town values, the company focuses on reliability, attention to detail, and helping local families and businesses enjoy a beautiful lawn without the hassle of traditional mowing.
